Dust Mites at Home

Ever had that feeling when you walk into someone’s home and you start sneezing, become wheezy and your eyes start watering, and all of a sudden you start searching to see if they have any pets or cats in particular.  Well I don’t know about you all, but I certainly have.  The crazy thing is this could all be happening due to tiny little invisible bugs called dust mites, which love to cuddle you while you sleep.

So What Are Dust Mites?

Dust Mites, also known as bed bugs, are microscopic bugs that live in warm places and feed off dead skin cells, yuk!  It can take only one month before a new home or furniture can be polluted with dust mites.

Dust Mites allergies are very common and most of time get ignored!  People with Dust Mites allergies suffer the most inside their homes or in other people’s homes.  Oddly enough, their symptoms often worsen during or immediately after vacuuming, sweeping or dusting.  The process of cleaning can stir up dust particles making them easier to inhale.

Okay, So Where Are Dust Mites Found?

Dust Mites are everywhere!  The particles are mostly found in pillows, mattresses, carpeting and upholstered furnitures.  They float into the air when movement occurs and soon settles once movement has stopped.  This could be as simple as walking on the carpet.
