As per the TGA guidelines, conformity assessment is the procedure used to determine whether the safety, quality and performance of a device are adequate. Depending on the risk classification of a device, there are a number of different types of conformity assessment procedure that a manufacturer may select to use. Fern Fabric® applies the conformity assessment procedure to generate evidence to demonstrate the safety, quality and performance of our products.

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. Textiles can only be certified if all components meet the specified requirements.

Fern Fabric® has been independently quality tested in Australia by textile technologists David J Heffer & Associates . David J Heffer is a Chartered Textile Technologist and is an Associate of the Textile Institute, the worldwide professional body for textile experts.

Fern Fabric® tested for Performance and Durability

Mantra is a research textile association and was established in 1970 to cater the ever increasing quality control needs of growing manmade textile industry.  Fern Fabric® has been independently tested for its quality and durability by the Government of India approved laboratory.  The test results confirm Fern Fabric® to be of the highest performance, most durable and most comfortable dust mite barriers available.

 

BTS was established with an aim to provide quality testing services; anti-microbial testing, analytical testing and clinical studies. Anti-Microbial testing was completed for our Fern Fabric® Anti-Microbial Jacquard Coverlets. Anti-Microbial quality keeps the fabrics fresh, odour free, mould free and hygienic for longer durations and provide better sleeping environment.
